Join our Interviews on LGBTQI Youth Inclusion in Sports!

June 6, 2025

Are you an LGBTQI young person interested in sport?

We are looking for LGBQTI young people to share their experiences in school and community sports as part of our new research study.

For many LGBTQI young people across Europe, sports are still not a safe or welcoming space. Whether at school or in local clubs, they often face exclusion, bullying or silence - especially where homophobia, transphobia, intersexphobia, racism, ableism and other forms of discrimination intersect.

We believe sport should be a place where every young person feels seen, respected and free to participate. That is why we are launching a new research study to explore LGBTQI youth inclusion in school and community sports.

Building on our 2024 report on Trans, Gender-Diverse and Intersex Youth in Sports, this study will centre the voices of LGBTQI young people to better understand their needs, the barriers they encounter and the discrimination they experience. It will also identify best practices that foster more inclusive, safe and affirming environments.

You can read the full call and sign up for an interview here.
