IGLYO Manifesto

IGLYO Manifesto

The IGLYO Manifesto is a dynamic expression of our organisation's values, aspirations, and commitments. It serves as a guiding framework — values-wise — for our actions, decisions, and interactions within the LGBTQI communities and beyond. Through it, we affirm our dedication to creating a more inclusive, equitable, and empowering environment for LGBTQI youth, rooted in solidarity, activism, and resilience.

Grow your international network

IGLYO counts over 135 Member Organisations across more than 40 countries in the European region, as well as many worldwide partners and friends. By joining our network, all people active in your organisation (board, staff, volunteers, etc.) will benefit from an extensive number of opportunities to meet, share good practices, discuss common challenges, and identify partnership opportunities with like-minded organisations and activists internationally.

Take part in on-site events and training, all expenses paid

IGLYO has extensive experience in creating and delivering international events and capacity-building workshops, designed specifically to support our Members’ work. Our in-person events gather young LGBTQI activists from across the European region and include sessions ranging from practical skills to more specialised topics that are the most relevant to LGBTQI youth.

Some events are open to Members only, and Members always have priority when applying for events that are open to everyone. What’s more is that participation costs (travel, accommodation, and meals) are fully funded by IGLYO!

Learn new skills from the comfort of your home

IGLYO provides an ever-growing library of online resources and learning opportunities on a variety of topics. We often get in touch with our Members to ask them to contribute to our research and publications. Throughout the year, we also deliver a series of webinars to allow our Members and wider audiences to learn about new topics, discuss ideas, and connect with other organisations.

Engage in meaningful advocacy actions

IGLYO aims to ensure that the views and experiences of LGBTQI youth are well represented in European and international events, meetings and policies. We have developed strong links with many European and international institutions to advocate for LGBTQI and youth rights. We also aim to provide opportunities for our Members to engage directly with decision-makers.

By becoming a Member, you will be updated in real time on our policy and advocacy work and will also be invited to take part in our research and campaigns so as to help us advocate for European and local policies that are truly fit to your needs. Our Advocacy Team is always be available to support you in your local advocacy actions, and our Comms & Network team is always ready to amplify your campaigns and efforts to an international audience.

Increase your visibility on the international scale

Your voice, our megaphone! By joining IGLYO, you will be referenced in our Members’ list and get a full page dedicated to your organisation on our website. You'll also have the possibility to submit your opportunities and resources for publication in our opportunity finder and digital resource library. For an extra boost of visibility, we'll take care of promoting them on our far-reaching online channels!

Adaptable Membership fees for everyone

Every Member is meant to contribute to the running costs of the network through yearly Membership fees. As equity is one of our dearest values, the fee structure is based on the principle of solidarity: Lower fees for organisations with lower incomes, and higher fees for those with higher incomes. This structure was approved by our Members at the General Assembly 2014.

Organisations interested in becoming a Member should select a Membership level according to the total annual income of their organisation in the previous fiscal year. By total annual income, we mean the gross annual income of your organisation for the last full calendar year (public and private funding, grants, donations, sponsorships, registration and membership fees, etc.).

As our Membership runs from March to the end of February, your first year Membership fee will be prorated according to when you join. And of course, all Membership levels have access to the same benefits.

Please note that we voted new membership fees in October 2025 and are still updating the fees slider below, so in the meantime please refer to our Membership Fee Policy for the most updated version of our membership fees, including information about the new free pink membership tier!
