Take Part in the Life in Scotland Survey
Our Member LGBT Youth Scotland wants to hear from LGBTQI people aged 13–25 who live in Scotland through their Life in Scotland for LGBTQ+ young people research survey.
The survey asks about your experiences of community, healthcare, education, sport, media and justice, as well as your sense of safety and happiness. It is being led by LGBTQI young researchers to help ensure it reflects the needs and experiences of LGBTQI young people.
By taking part, you can help create direct, meaningful change for LGBTQI communities across Scotland. LGBT Youth Scotland will use the findings to influence the Scottish Government, decision-makers and service providers—including Education Scotland and the NHS—and help ensure LGBTQI young people’s experiences are heard.
The survey is open to LGBTQI people, and people questioning their gender identity or sexual orientation, who are aged 13–25 and live in Scotland. It takes around 30 minutes to complete, and you can pause and return at any time.
The survey closes on Monday 5 October 2026.
