Roll them drums 'cause we're extremely excited and proud to introduce you to our brand new IGLYO website and visual identity!
Since October 2022, we have been on an intensive journey to modernise our look and restructure our website. The goal was not only to give more visibility to the work of IGLYO and our more than 110 Members Organisations, but also to make our international LGBTQI youth movement louder than ever.
Today, on IDAHOBIT+ 2023, we are happy to finally launch the new IGLYO website, hoping to establish it soon as a unique online platform where LGBTQI young people from across the globe can find international opportunities, resources and news, as well as a close-knit community that loves, supports, and protects them.
"Move the bus, move the bus!" you say? With no further ado, let's take a closer look at what's new!
Colours, colours, colours. Once more? Colours, colours, colours! Our new visual identity now includes a wide array of vivid colours paired with geometric patterns that will brighten up your day, wherever you are.
And if you're missing the old logo, worry not, it just grew and evolved to be its true authentic self. See for yourself:
Get ready to see those two paired up on social media: #WeAreIGLYO 💜!
Spoiler alert! Here are in a nutshell the new features that might be relevant to you and your work:
Not everyone is familiar with the concept of network or member-based organisation. Our new 'About us' section now provides clearer and more structured information on who we are, our wide array of activities, our amazing teams, and our proud history.
Our amazing 110+ IGLYO Member Organisations are at the core of our activities, which is why we find it important to put a bigger spotlight on the incredible work they achieve every day across the Council of Europe Region.
Our new Members' list now allows for filtered search according to country and areas of work, and each Member Organisation has a dedicated page with their info, as well as the opportunities and resources published on the IGLYO website. In other words, this is networking from the comfort of your home!
Becoming an IGLYO Member has never been easier! Our new Become a Member page now clearly explains the advantages, criteria and steps to join our network. Soon, we will also launch our Membership Guide, which will gather everything our Members need to know about their membership. We can't wait for you to join!
Nested under the "Get involved" menu entry, our brand new opportunity finder offers the possibility to search for international events, open calls, campaigns and job offers that are relevant to LGBTQI young people. What's more is that our Members and partners can also submit their opportunities for publication on the IGLYO website through the opportunity publication form. Make sure to bookmark the page to find weekly new opportunities!
Our new resource library will now include insightful publications, articles, research, and audiovisual content from IGLYO, our Members, and the global LGBTQI community. Just like for the opportunity finder, our Members and partners can submit their resources for publication on the website through the resource publication form. Keep the link at close hand 'cause the library's going to grow fast!
Donations are crucial to help us to raise our voice among policy-makers and get more LGBTQI young people worldwide to take part in our activities. Our new donation page now explains in details what donations are used for, and provides an easy form to make a one-off or recurring donation in less than 5 minutes. See for yourself!

We extend an immense THANK YOU (with glitter and neon lights) to our amazing development and design partners Green Story for their hard work, dedication, and genuine kindness over the past eight months. We specifically thank the amazing Manon (Project Management/ UX & UI Designs), Sarah (Development), Lauraine (Design), and Baptiste and Florian (Design & Oversight).
We couldn't have dreamed of better partners, and cannot wait to keep on collaborating with them on upcoming design and development projects at IGLYO (yes, you read well, but we won't spill the beans just yet!).
A massive thank you as well to our Communications Officer Jeremy Gobin, who coordinated the whole project for the past 8 months and put all his heart in making the new website a unique platform for our Members and worldwide LGBTQI young people.
A big thank you as well to our staff and Board Members who contributed with their insightful ideas and feedback all along this journey, and to our Members who contributed to build an international Members list we couldn't more proud of.
And, of course, special thanks to our funders the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) 2021-2027 Programme of the European Union, the Dutch Ministry of Education Culture & Science and the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe for supporting our development and design journey, as well as our mission.
We'll now leave you to explore the new website. Have fun, and feel free to let us know what you think, either via email or on social media by using #WeAreIGLYO 💜!
