IGLYO Grants 2026: Discover the 6 Selected Members' Projects!

May 6, 2026

Every year, we provide grants to EU-based Members based on a call for applications to support grassroots and local projects on topics that are crucial for LGBTQI young people. The Grants Programme focuses on supporting organisations that are new, volunteer-based, and do not have easy access to funding.

In 2026, we awarded six Members' projects within four different priority areas: combating anti-gender discourse, combating online hate speech and bullying, supporting youth empowerment and children’s rights, and trans-specific healthcare:

  • CYber+: Reclaiming Digital Space from Hate and Bullying by Queer Cyprus Association (Kuir Kibris Derneği), Cyprus
  • Sun in Saturn: (Re)Connecting Trans Youth To Their Family Members Through Creative Writing by rede ex aequo, Portugal
  • Community in Action: Empowering LGBTQI+ Youth Activism Through Volunteering by Asociacija Trans Autonomija, Lithuania
  • Safe Pathway: Building Accessible Healthcare for Transgender Youth in Bulgaria by Single Step Foundation, Bulgaria
  • Build it queer, sustainable and strong: Towards Organisational and Collective Resilience for Afghan LGBTQI Advocacy by Rainbow Afghanistan and Spectrum, Germany and France
  • A New Boogieman: The "Woke Agenda" and the Making of the Anti-Gender Movement in Greece by emphilo, Greece
