Ready? Set... Grants!
As part of our IGLYO Grants Programme 2025, we are awarding five grants of €10,000 each to three of our Member Organisations based in EU Member States for the implementation of projects on three streams: LGBTQI Inclusion in Sports; Policy, Advocacy and Research; and Anti Racism (for projects including and led by BIPOC).
On top of financial assistance, IGLYO will also be providing technical support by working closely with the selected organisations in the implementation of their projects.
Upon a call for proposals, we are now excited to announce the three projects selected as part of our IGLYO Grants Programme 2025:

TRANSforming the Narrative: Countering Anti-Gender Rhetoric in Estonia by Estonian Trans Alliance, Estonia
The project documents experiences of trans youth in Croatia during social transition, develops inclusive policy recommendations, and raises awareness through research, advocacy, and a social media campaign to improve institutional support systems.
Grant Amount: €10k | Duration: 15 April - 15 November | Target Groups: Estonian trans community, especially trans youth, Allies of trans people in Estonia, Estonian cisgender youth, General public via social media engagement

Social Transition and Youth: Our realities by kolekTIRV, Croatia
The project counters anti-gender narratives in Estonia by educating the trans community, equipping allies, and reaching cis youth with social media content. It combines research, leaflets, events, and a social media campaign to build resilience and promote allyship.
Grant Amount: €10k | Duration: 15 April - 15 November | Trans youth in Croatia undergoing social transition, Trans youth from rural, low-income, and Roma backgrounds, Families of trans children, Teachers, school staff, healthcare and social service professionals, Policymakers, CSOs, and the general public

REST (Resilience, Empowerment, Solidarity, Transformation) by Queerstion Media, Sweden
This project empowers BIPOC+ LGBTQI+ refugees in Sweden through healing spaces, resilience-building, and anti-racism advocacy. It strengthens leadership, fosters alliances, and promotes intersectional justice through workshops, retreats, and collaboration.
Grant Amount: €10k | Duration: 15 April - 15 November | BIPOC+ LGBTQI+ refugees and asylum seekers in Sweden, especially trans and gender-diverse individuals; Queerstion Media staff and volunteers BIPOC+ LGBTQI+ and anti-racist activists, human rights defenders across Europe, and policymakers

Access & Asylum: A Toolkit for LGBTIQ+ Protection in the Czech Republic by Afghanistan LGBTIQ+ Organisation, Czech Republic
This project will create a multilingual toolkit to support LGBTIQ+ forcibly displaced youth in Czechia by providing legal guidance, documenting discrimination, and advocating for policy change. It combines research, community input, and targeted dissemination.
Grant Amount: €10k | Duration: 15 April - 15 November | Target groups: LGBTIQ+ forcibly displaced youth, refugees, and asylum seekers in Europe, Refugee and asylum support organizations, Legal and human rights practitioners, Policymakers and migration stakeholders

Queer Heroes Outdoors by Pink Summits, Germany
"Queer Heroes Outdoors" boosts visibility of queer people in outdoor sports in German-speaking areas. It shares 10+ intersectional stories via a website and social media, focusing on youth, FLINTA & BIPOC voices. Activities include interviews, content creation, and outreach.
Grant Amount: €10k | Duration: 15 April - 15 November | Target Groups: Queer youth, FLINTA (female, lesbian, inter, non-binary, trans, agender) individuals, BIPOC queer individuals, Queer outdoor sports community in German-speaking countries

What’s next?
The five Member Organisations have already started to implement their project, with the support of IGLYO staff members bearing expertise in the topics covered by each project. In the coming months, we will be coordinating our efforts with the three Members to communicate about the development of their projects.
