About

ReportOUT

ReportOUT is a UK-based human rights organisation dedicated to advancing the safety, dignity, and equality of LGBTQ+ people worldwide. Through research, advocacy, and education, ReportOUT documents human rights abuses, amplifies the voices of persecuted communities, and drives evidence-based change. The organisation works closely with activists, civil society groups, and international partners to monitor the lived experiences of LGBTQ+ people in countries where they face discrimination, criminalisation, and violence.

ReportOUT produces rigorous reports, policy briefings, and campaigns that influence governments, policymakers, and global institutions. Its educational programmes strengthen public understanding of LGBTQ+ rights, while community projects—such as OUT and Safe North East—offer local support and create safer spaces. Rooted in intersectionality and informed by lived experience, ReportOUT strives to build a world where LGBTQ+ people can live openly, safely, and free from persecution, shaping both global advocacy and local action for lasting social change.
