ComingOut is a Lithuanian-registered LGBTQ+ organisation with roots in Russia. They support queer and trans people from Eastern Europe, and Central Asia who face violence, censorship, and forced migration. Their team provides free legal aid, crisis and long-term psychological support, community groups, and practical assistance for people relocating to safer countries. They also document human rights violations, engage in strategic litigation, and work with international partners to advocate for systemic change.
ComingOut prioritises youth, people with multiple marginalised identities, and those with the least access to support. Their work is trauma-informed, community-led, and grounded in the belief that every LGBTQ+ person deserves safety, dignity, and the possibility to build a future on their own terms.
