About
Laolaltă (meaning Together) is a non-governmental, non-profit, independent organization, politically unaffiliated, registered in 2020. They believe in empathetic and engaged communities with equal opportunities for continuous development.
At Laolaltă, they design queer and feminist programs, providing opportunities and resources for refugees and local communities from Moldova, in spaces that are both friendly and safe. We promote equity and inclusion for underprivileged groups through collaboration with public authorities and key stakeholders. Additionally, we develop projects with and for urban communities, addressing real needs and challenges for a better quality of life.
Their Community Centres in Chisinau, Cahul, Causeni, Comrat, Donduseni and Ungheni provide a safe space for public activities and events that contribute to the integration and strengthening of the capacities of members of the local community and refugees. The Centres' services are focused on people who are in a temporary situation of vulnerability or for disadvantaged communities, but not limited to, as their Centres welcome anyone.
