About

Keshet Sefarad

Keshet Sefarad is a cultural, apolitical association of LGBTQI Jews that aims to people of all denominations of Judaism, who reside or have resided in Spain and who have a vision of Judaism that is supportive and egalitarian.

Their mission

Keshet Sefarad is committed to building an inclusive, supportive, and vibrant Jewish community where LGBTQI Jews can live openly, safely, and with dignity. They strive to be a leading voice at the national, European, and global levels for LGBTQI Jews living in Spain or maintaining close ties to the country, advocating for equality, visibility, and full participation in Jewish and wider society.

Their mission is to foster a spirit of inclusion within Jewish communities, strengthen connections among diverse individuals and organisations, and promote solidarity across borders. They actively defend human rights and oppose all forms of discrimination, including homophobia, transphobia, antisemitism, and prejudice based on religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, race, nationality, or any other status.

Through education, community engagement, cultural initiatives, and interfaith dialogue, they work to build understanding, strengthen global networks of LGBTQI Jews, and advance a future of equality, security, and mutual respect for all.
